If a Fisherman Scatter lands on a reel, it unlocks the treasure chest above that reel and triggers the Free Spins round. The treasure chest will reveal a special modifier that will apply to the Free Spins.

More than one treasure chest, and accompanying modifier, can be unlocked at a time. If one treasure chest is unlocked, you will receive 10 Free Spins, and for each additional chest that’s unlocked, you will receive an extra 3 spins.

The modifiers are:

Reel 1 Chest – a x2 Multiplier that increases by +1 for every X Multiplier Symbol that lands on the reels during the Free Spins, up to a maximum of x5. The Multiplier applies to all Fish symbols and any upgraded symbols when a Fisherman collection is triggered.

Reel 2 Chest – an Adder Modifier of x1, which upgrades by +1 with every + Symbol that lands on the reels, up to a maximum of x5. The Adder Modifier applies to all Fish symbols and any upgraded symbols when a Fisherman collection is triggered.

Reel 4 Chest – a Symbol Upgrade, that starts with the 10 Symbol. The Arrow Symbol can add a Cash Value to the lowest-paying symbol when a Fisherman collection is triggered.

Reel 5 Chest – a Respin Upgrade. This adds a Heart Symbol to the respin chest. When this feature is triggered, only blanks, Scatters, Fish, and Upgrade Symbols can appear. If Fish and Upgrade Symbols land on the reels, they are locked in position. For each spin without a new Fish or Upgrade Symbols landing, a Heart Symbol is removed. Once all Heart Symbols have been removed, this feature ends and awards the total value on the screen at that time.

If you unlock the Golden Chest on Reel 3 it awards 19 Free Spins and activates all Modifiers. All modifiers can increase in value throughout the round.
